Play Way

At Era Preschool, our play classes are designed to provide a holistic and engaging learning experience for young children. Our curriculum is structured to foster creativity, social skills, and cognitive development through a variety of interactive and playful activities.

1. Sensory Play: Activities that engage the senses of touch, sight, smell, and sound, helping children explore and understand the world around them. This includes sand and water play, playdough, and sensory bins.

2. Creative Arts: Encouraging self-expression through art and craft projects. Children explore different materials and techniques such as painting, drawing, collage, and sculpting.

3. Music and Movement: Developing rhythm, coordination, and a love for music through singing, dancing, and playing simple instruments. This also includes rhythm games and movement exercises.

4. Storytelling and Literacy: Fostering a love for books and reading. Storytime sessions, puppet shows, and early literacy activities help enhance listening skills and imagination.

5. Outdoor Play: Physical activities that promote gross motor skills, such as running, climbing, and playing on swings and slides. This also includes nature walks and outdoor exploration.

6. Social Skills Development*: Interactive activities that encourage sharing, cooperation, and communication. Group games and role-playing scenarios help children learn to interact positively with their peers.

7. Cognitive Games: Puzzles, matching games, and memory challenges that stimulate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

8. Montessori Activities : Practical life exercises and sensory-based learning activities inspired by Montessori principles, encouraging independence and hands-on learning.

9. Waldorf-Inspired Play: Activities that nurture imagination and creativity, such as free play with natural materials, storytelling, and arts.

10. Science and Nature Exploration : Simple experiments and nature-based activities that introduce basic scientific concepts and foster a sense of curiosity about the environment.

Our play classes are designed to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn through play, build foundational skills, and develop a lifelong love for learning.
